18 February 2006, Saturaday, It was a busy day for me as i had 3 programmes lined up consecutively. I had a hard time planning my own time schedule as all these 3 programmes so coincidently happens to falls in the nite..However, no matter wat die die must go as i have promised my friends..A promise is always a promise.
1st Stop: Michelle's Bdae @ Tanah Merah Safra Chalet
Rushed down to Michelle's bdae by cab as my side was raining heavily ard 5 plus...Hence, i was late to reach her chalet..heehee.. (finding excuses). The place is quite diff to access without cars. As walking, i noticed there are many facilites at the safra club. The chalets are all quite new and there is a golf course. It looks like a great place to me. For those of u consider taking chalets can consider taking up their booking package but i heard from Michelle that the chalet fees are quite ex and it is only open for safra member. I have bought a Chomel necklace for Michelle. My sis Jo and hui has accompanied me to walked the whole Orchard b4 i finally settled for tis as her bdae gift. Glad that she like the present. Michelle is 5 weeks pregnant....hence she has put on a little more weight. Hope she take care of her diet and health.
One of my another ex colleague also went too Michelle's bdae. I certainly felt there is some distance bet me and her. Mayb its becoz we dun see each other more than 3 times in a yr..I guess distance n coldness is inevitable. Somemore she is married with 2 kids and her husband is quite strict with her. Left her bdae around 7 plus as i need to rush down to my sis Chloe house for BBQ. The place is super ulu and it was so difficult to see a sight of a cab. Luckily, lady luck is with me as i saw a cab turning in at the main entrance. Hence, i quickly hopped into the cab for my next destination.
2nd Stop: BBQ Gathering @ Sis Chloe's New House
Met up with my Dear dear as well as my friends Alex, Iris and Vincent @ Farrer Park mrt. We walked for around 10 mins or so to reach her house before meeting up with sis Karen and hui. Chloe sis is to nice to invite them over for the BBQ session. The bbq pit was near the main entrance as well as the swimming pool. All the foods are proudly sponsered by Chloe. It was a nice bbq session. The guys keep barbecuing and the gals keep eating...Those chicken wings tat vincent has cooked are real tasty..yum yum..My god daughter keep sticking to Alex..Ask her got 3 kor kors, who she like best and she chose Alex..haha.. Tik she treat him like her bf liaoz..Alex, u must wait for Charmaine for 18 years ah, ok?? haha. Chloe will be flying off to Australia tis Sat to continue her last semester there. Wun be coming back to sg so soon. Hope she do well in her studies and may she get well soon! No matter wat happens, i still treat u as a sis...muacks!
3rd Stop: Gibert's Bdae @ Devils Bar

A misunderstanding has happened & tis kinda leads to a mini explosion! Tis misunderstanding has indeed makes me feel a bit upset although i m not the main characters of tis issue. In tis situation, i feel tat neither of them are wrong. It is mainly a clear cut miscommuncation. Hence, both have misunderstood each other intentions. Indeed, sometimes words are not passed down correctly or say out properly tat leads to misunderstandings. Good intentions are often mislead and leads to disagreements n bad blood. Tis is sad :(
No one is the exact mirror reflection of each other and the worm in the other person's stomach. Sometimes we need to tik both sides of the coins. Tik abt how u will feel if u r in other pple shoes..Try to look at it at another angle. By understanding the whole situation may give u a better understanding y the person reacted in tis manner.
When being misunderstood, would u rather
1) Clarify first before the person gets the wrong idea?
2) Stay silent? Keep all unhappiness to urself. Coz the more u say, the more the other party may tik u finding excuses.
3) Clarify rite after the when u are already being misunderstood u? Sometimes the other party still may nt understand as they are still in an angry/upset mood.
4) Give some time & choose a good timing to to clarify after the case has ended. Usu the other party has already cooled down.
5) Dun bother to clarify and forget abt the whole incident. U are wat u are. Take it or leave it.
For me, my choice will be 1), 3) and 4). I will choose to clarify as friends and sisters are highly impt to me. I will not wish to destroy any friendship or sisterhood.
Worse, sometimes u are being misunderstood without knowing.. Then all tis options does nt applies anymore as there is no chance of verdict. I will rather a person to say out wat they really feel than keeping in their heart. Sometimes we may overlook on our own bad pts without knowing. Tis is when we need friends to give us a gentle reminder. Its all abt self improving.

~Company trip to Bintan Island ~Day 1 - 1st Feb, Wednesday:
Woke up in the early morning, meeting my boss, Jass @ Pasir Ris mrt. She came n picked me up n we went to the Tanah Merah ferry terminal to meet up witht he rest of my colleagues. It has been so long since i ever stepped out of Singapore. The last time i went was nearly 6 yrs ago with my first ex bf to taiwan. I always have the phobia of taking boats or ferry as i have sea sick. So before my ferry ride, i took a pill for travel motion sickness. The waters was indeed to choppy and many were vomitting or feeling nauesea. Luckily i slept throughout the journey.
We were staying at Asoka villa @ Bintan lagoon resort. In total, we occupied 3 villas with 4 rooms in total. The best part is the tat the villas are all facing towards the sea and there is a prvate pool in each villa. Cool man! Basically, i kept myself indoors as i hate the sun. So spent most of my times sleeping, watching tv and relaxing....
Day 2 - 2nd Feb, Thursday
Woke up early for our breakfast..Sigh.. Really beginning to miss Singapore. Quite handicapped there as i do not have pc with me..My phone is not set to auto roaming, hence missing out all my friends smses. sob sob. After breakfast, we proceeded to Pasar Ole Ole to do shopping. Need to take a short bus b4 we can arrive there. By the time we finished our shopping, we were exhausted. We saw some local to be artises filming there. Time to head back to our villa for our private body massages. The whole massage takes abt 1 hr. Although i feel pain in some parts of the body while massaging, i still feel "shiok".
We had BBQ for dinner. Each head count cost abt $30 ++ including snacks n deserts. BBQ was held in 1 of our villa. My boss specially engaged a professional cook to help us to start the fire n cook the bbq foods for us. I had an early rest tat nite..Dunno y i feel so tired thruout the whole trip..Didnt spent $ at all for tis trip as the expenses were all under my big boss's tabs. So blessed. *wink wink*. Only spent on personal massage.. Overall i feel tat everything is veri ex there. Dun mean to complain but it is really ex lo..1 maggie mee at the resort costs $3.50 and 1 potato chips selling at $5.00. So next time, any1 intend to go there, must stock up ur supply of dry foods. heehee.
Day3 - 3rd Feb, Friday
Woke up early for our last breakfast at Bintan...Took the ferry around 2.30pm back to Singapore. Boy, i really can't wait to go home..I miss my friends, my family, my sisters, my Dear Dear n my pc...Rushed home to put my big bags before going out to meet Dear for dinner. He was worried sick for me as i have absolute no news for him these 2 days. Ah...home sweet home..home will always be the best..:)

Dear Dear & My Brother

Brother & Sister.
First day of CNY, i went to 3 places to visit my relatives. Strangely all my relatives are staying at the East side, only my family who are the odd 1 out. To be frank, i prefer the East side also..I can vividly still rem the good old times & memories when i used to stay at Tampines. Always hanging out laughing & enjoying with my beloved sisters. Times flies, another year has passed. I rarely have the chance to see some relatives. It is like a one year once occasion & i can see so much changes in them. My relatives keep asking me if i have a bf now or nt. They so gan jiong than me. Usually at the tis age, pple sure keep asking tis question as some already have kids at tis age..makes me more stress. Sweat!
After my last stop at my grandma hse at Tampines, i proceeded to catch the movie "I not stupid 2" with my friends Iris, Alex, Adam & my Dear Dear. My brother followed me along as he has no activities. Hmm..First time i act bring him out with my friends..He so funny..scared tat there will be communication breakdown with my friends as they are so much older than him..Nevertheless, i suppose it turns out to be well. The show is beri nice in my opinion. Veri touching. I just couldn't control my tears rolling during the last part of the show. Guess it reflected the reality of our modern society. After the show, we went for some pool session. Dear Dear & my bro played billard. Didn't noe my bro is actually quite skillful in billard. I tik he will be following me in my future outings more often(tats wat he says now). At least i can monitor wat he is doing outside & put some peace off my mind. Haha.

Do u have friends who are hypocrites or u always caught them keep lying or cheating u? Or friends who always say 1 thing but end up doing another thing..To me, i feel tat these type of friends are not true friends. They are call fake friends. If u wan others to treat u good, care for u n respect u, u shd treat them the same way or even better. Life is short. U will nv noe wat will happen 2molo. There is no FREE breakfast in the world..If u have some1 who cares for u n treasure u, then u are lucky. U shd cherish them as fate only comes once. Dun be stingy in showing ur love n care to others. Learn how to love urself n love others..R u wondering y ur friends may be leaving u? If some1 tells u abt ur bad pts or wat they dun like abt u, take a step to look urself in the mirror. Ask urself y issit so.. U may agree or dun agree.. if 3 or more pple are saying the same things, means there is a high chance tat the fact is true. Do not point ur fingers at others and accuse them without reflecting ur own acts. Do not stay blinded. Those who act blur or remains aloof are only fools to themselves. If there are some misunderstandings bet friends, say it out. True friends will noe how to give and take.
I believe tat every1 has a angel n devil within us. Do not let the devilish side of us to take control of us. Every1 is born to be good (tats wat the confucious says). I guess somehow along the way some things may change us like greed, jealousy, anger etc...Money is also another factor. It is always the roots of all evils. It is not to late to ammend any bad habits tat u have adopt as long as u are willing to. Nothing is too difficult if u have set ur mind to it.
Are 1 of those feeling hurt or gulity after reading tis post? Do u noe y? U feel hurt becoz wat the post may be writing abt u n tis is the truth!
Enuff of this..i m leaving Singapore later for my Bintan trip. Early trip. The ferry will be leaving at 11 am sharp. Will only be back on fri evening..To all my friends n all my dear sisters, pls take care..Miss ya.
