Time flies. I can’t believe we are married
for 7 years now! It just seems like yesterday.
Recap of our old photos:-
Over the years, we have built special
memories along the way. Although sometimes we might have different views in
matters, we have always managed to sort out our differences and make compromises.
Thanks for all the love, care and support, be it during the good or the bad
times. It has been wonderful to be Mrs Chiang! Looking forward to many more
years of joy, laugher and love with you.
We had lunch at Carousel @ Royal Plaza on
Scotts. We always have a strong connection to this restaurant. Not only because
the food here is good but also due to the fact that we have always been eating
here since our dating days which makes this place so special.
The management is so sweet to prepare a complimentary muffin cake for anniversary. Thumbs up!

Baby Jayden was born on 5th Jan.
We were all very excited to see Jayden. Hence, we went to KKH the next day
after work to visit Chloe and baby Jayden. Both mother and son are safe and in good
health. Well done, Mummy Chloe! Jameson has a new playmate now.
Baby Jayden looks so adorable with such a
nice baby smell. Each of us took turns to carry Jayden and play with him. We
also took some individual photos of baby Jayden. More photos of Jayden in time
to come.

It was New Year day. On this special day,
we celebrated the Karen's and Sherrie’s birthday. Our dress code of the day was Stripes &
Checked. Initially, lunch was supposed
to be at Sunset Bay @ East Coast. Reservation was made at 1pm. However, when we
reached at 1pm, the service crew said they did not receive any reservations and
the restaurant is only opening at 2pm.
This led us to Plan B – The Coast Bistro
& Bar @ Big Splash. It was an unpleasant dining experience at The Coast
Bistro & Bar. The service staffs were slow and not attentive. Even serving
plain water was very slow. I have to wave at them so many times before they
acknowledged and came to record my order. They are offering set menu lunch with
Laksa, Seafood fried rice and mushroom pasta as main dishes. A few of us ordered
laksa. We waited for at least 20 minutes before one of the service staff came
and told us they ran out of laksa. It took them so long to realize that laksa
was out of stock???!!!! Okie, never mind, we changed our laksa to other dishes. Another 20 minutes later, another service crew came to inform us that seafood fried
rice was out of stock as well. Can’t they say tell us earlier in the first
place??? And we had starving pregnant lady and kids waiting! We sat down about
1.30pm. The side dishes - salad and soup were only served upon request when we
showed our displeasure. By the time the side dishes were served was already close to
3pm!
My main dish was finally served around 3.30pm.
I was so famished that I didn’t bother to take any photo of the food. Besides,
the food was not fantastic. The pasta had no taste. I had to add in salt,
pepper and a lot of tobasco sauce to make it tastier. Pizza was fine though.
When questioned, the excuse that the
restaurant manager replied us that it was due to New Year day and the sudden big crowd
(12 adults, 6 kids) was too overwhelming for them. The restaurant was not even
half filled during lunch time! In the
end, the restaurant manager decided to waive off the 10% service charge after
some “negotiation”.
Despite some minor hiccups, it was still a
wonderful and success celebration. Hope you like the presents that we have especially
prepared for both of you.
Took after a few photos at Starbucks after
dinner.
Ending this post with a group photo.
