Bought another Kapo yesterday while shopping @ Taka.

I'm Finally Back...

From Company's Free & Easy trip to Bangkok starting from 21st - 24th Feb. Wooohooo.. So happy that i am backed home. I missed Mum's cooking, my family, my Darling, my friends & my comfortable bed. It has been a few years since i last visited Bangkok.

I shared the same room with my superior, Jass, at Baiyoke Suite Hotel. In my opinion, the hotel was lousy and the services were poor. Strange things happened during the first 2 days of our hotel stay. Like scared little chicken, we turned on all the lightings such as lamp lights, toilet lights and even turned on the tv while sleeping as well. Dan Xiao Gui!

1) A mysterious pair of unknown socks suddenly appeared in our room when we came back from shopping. Our things seemed to have been moved. Perhaps it was the housekeeper who had dropped the socks in our room. Eventually, we asked the hotel staff to take the pair of socks away.

2) One of the TV's cabinet was opened when we woke up in the morning. We were positive that it was closed at the night before. We comforted ourselves that most likely it was the hinge problem. :x

Bangkok is still considered quite safe. As we walked, we could see lots of foreigners like us. The traffic was very bad and the weather was soooooo hot. Not much trees around in Bangkok though. We had 3 days of non-stop shopping. We went to quite a few shopping malls like MBK, Siam Sq, Central World and those roadside stalls for shopping. I have bought lots of stuffs and not forgetting stuffs for my family and friends. The currency was low when we converted to sing dollars. Conclusion, all the things were super cheap...Massage was cheap, manicure and pedicure were cheap as well. Wahahahaa..Really satisified my shopping urge. Didn't took much photos though, except the 2 photos below using my hp camera.

The Sky Is So Blueeeeee!

Our Jet Asia's return flight was been delayed for 3 hours. Supposingly to reach Singapore at 11 plus but ended up to reach at around 2 am in the morning. What a waste of time! However, I feel really sweet to see my Darling & bro waiting to fetch me back from the Airport. Both of them waited till so sleepy...Really appreciate their kind effort...Heehee :)

HDB launches another WIS last Friday morning. For this time round, they have offered flats at popular towns such as Bukit Merah, Geylang, Tampines and Toa Payoh. As kiasu Singaporean, tons of people rushed down to get a queue number, including myself..But i was quite disappointed to get only queue number 0419 despite we reached as early as 8am (Officially HDB opens at 8.30am). Wednesday will be our turn for HDB appointment. Darling will be stuck in camp for his reservist. I will have to make my own decision then.I dun tik my chances are high, as there are only 550 units in total as half of them belongs to 5 room and EA. I dun mind 5 room actually but the prices are a bit steep. With tat kind of price, it is almost on par with resale flats. Just wish me luck tat day. (Cross my fingers =X)











According to newspaper reports, people queued up the night before..and there are people who actually knew abt the news 4 days ago.. What is tis man? Issit the exercise supposed to be launched on Fri morning? Y are the news being leaked out? Articles mentioned tat the HDB staffs leaked out the news. We dunno how true but i just feel its unjustified lo...Never mind, i have prepared myself for another time of disappointment :(
