A New Look

I went for a hair perm yesterday at a salon @ kovan. In fact, i have been struggling with the decision to perm for a very long time. Having the same hairdo for 27 years, i guess it's time for a change.

Despite the fact that we made an early booking, the salon was still crowded with people. I did my perms while Karen's did the treament and hair trimming. Time seems to be crawling slowly.

After 6 hours, it turned out like this...

In A Happy Mood

It has been 2 weeks since i blogged as I have been busy rushing for assignment and preparing for my exam. Glad to say that I have finished my exam for International Business last night. The questions were very much expected and I am pretty confident in getting a good result. =D

Time flies. With 4 modules down, 4 more to go...Accounting, Statistics, Principle of Management, Econonmics. I hate Maths as my calculation is very poor. Hopefully, i can still excel in my next modules. Just to share my happy note. I scored an A for Project Management. 3 straight As in a row. Will there be a fourth one? Hmm..

In a relax mode now...Went Compass point for breakfast and grocery shopping. So coincidently, we saw Kenix and Hubby @ Ya Kun and joined them for coffee.

And...I be cooking dinner for Darling tonight. Lalalala.

There are always be people who look down or discriminate others. I am no longer someone who can't do anything right or need to rely on others. I know i can and i have proven myself capable of doing so.

Any Relationship Is Founded On Trust.

Without trust you are in big trouble. You can fight and you can tell white lies but trusting that your partner will do you and the relationship no harm is key.

Fidelity is the ultimate trust. Even if there is no sex in the marriage, there is absolutely no excuse to go get it anywhere else. There is absolutely no excuse for infidelity. Break up the marriage first.

Your kids and you siblings are related to you by blood. You can be estranged from your kids or siblings but they will always be your kids and siblings. When the chips are down even irreconciled blood relations will often come to your aid.

Marriage is different. You chose each other and there is always a possiblility of one leaving the other. That is why trust is so important.

Trust allows us to say things we wouldn't normally say, to look ugly when we should look good, to be grumpy when we should be happy. Trust allows us to have faults secure in the knowledge that we trust our spouse to continue loving us as we build a future together.

Women need communication, validation, a feeling of control and that the male is still interested. Displays of affection are critical.

Men need to feel like heroes. They need their egos stroked. They need to feel important. They need to feel that what they do is appreciated. They need to be allowed to solve problems even if the women knows a better way (and they usually do).

Women need to be treated like princesses and men need to be treated like knights. Fairy tales come true.

What is ZMOG anyway?

I have just learnt that it means "Oh my god"! This is also a good way to express anger, or dislike of a certain thing.

Don't be mistaken, i am not angry, just not in a piece of good mood.

This week has been tiring for me but glad that i have completed my job tasks dutifully. I do not know what is going wrong with me. I always have that "zombie" feeling when i reached home, lacking of energy to even to on my laptop, not to mentioned blogging. Despite sleeping early, i still feel very lethagic. I guess age is catching up.

In addition, my dateline for my International Business assignment is due pretty soon and it is still only half completed. With two weeks more to exams, i need to push myself harder...
