Any Relationship Is Founded On Trust.

Without trust you are in big trouble. You can fight and you can tell white lies but trusting that your partner will do you and the relationship no harm is key.

Fidelity is the ultimate trust. Even if there is no sex in the marriage, there is absolutely no excuse to go get it anywhere else. There is absolutely no excuse for infidelity. Break up the marriage first.

Your kids and you siblings are related to you by blood. You can be estranged from your kids or siblings but they will always be your kids and siblings. When the chips are down even irreconciled blood relations will often come to your aid.

Marriage is different. You chose each other and there is always a possiblility of one leaving the other. That is why trust is so important.

Trust allows us to say things we wouldn't normally say, to look ugly when we should look good, to be grumpy when we should be happy. Trust allows us to have faults secure in the knowledge that we trust our spouse to continue loving us as we build a future together.

Women need communication, validation, a feeling of control and that the male is still interested. Displays of affection are critical.

Men need to feel like heroes. They need their egos stroked. They need to feel important. They need to feel that what they do is appreciated. They need to be allowed to solve problems even if the women knows a better way (and they usually do).

Women need to be treated like princesses and men need to be treated like knights. Fairy tales come true.
